Recycle a shipping box by resizing it. Make sure the corrugated box is dry with no oil or chemical residue on the inside or on the outside. .: Peel off all tape and labels. If the tape and the labels are glued and hard to remove then leave them be. .: Separate the corner tab from the boxes wall carefully. .: If it's glued, then use a utility knife blade to carefully cut through the bond. .: You should be able to flip the box inside out and refold the flaps and sides to shape it like a box again. .: Use a tape gun to tape the inner tabs to the inner walls .: Make sure all edges and flaps meet nice and neat. .: Tape the inner bottom flap corner to outer bottom flap corner. .: Tape the other inner flaps corners to the other corners .: Tape both of the remaining inner flap corners and press hard on the tape to make sure it's nicely stuck together The result is a used corrugated cardboard shipping box looking clean and new, ready to be used as a used cheap cardboard corrugated shipping box or even as a used storage box.
